Pramāṇa (Śāstra reference)
Śrī Caitanya-caritāmṛta, Ādi 17.12–13 states that Nityānanda Prabhu met Lord Caitanya and received darśana of His six-armed form. In His six hands the Lord held a conch, disc, club, lotus, Śārṅga bow and flute.
Saṅkṣepa (short meaning)
After Nityānanda Prabhu’s arrival, Lord Caitanya disclosed His extraordinary six-armed form to Him. This darśana shows that the one Supreme Lord manifests different eternal forms and energies. Nityānanda beholds the Lord with loving reverence, recognizing the One whose mission He came to support — the distribution of the Holy Name.
